Mrs. Natalie teaches math, but she also serves as a district math content leader and school PBIS chair. Many of the fun positive behavior incentives that your child enjoys is a result from her behind the scenes dedication and planning. In addition to being a great teacher, she excels in scheduling and remembering details about school procedures. I am grateful for the role she plays not only for our school, but also on our first grade team.

Mrs. Marcia teaches reading but she also serves on the school's Sunshine Committee. Their slogan is "If you can't find the sunshine, be the sunshine." She "secretly" leaves sweet homemade treats in coworkers boxes to encourage and brighten their day. In addition to being a great teacher, she excels in keeping documentation and data collection. Her previous career as a paralegal is a great asset that we as a team often utilize. She was named "teacher of the year" for N.P.S.
I am grateful for her faithfulness to detail, our school and our team. |
Mrs. Yvette serves many of our first grade students by providing extra support. She is so very humble and kind to each child. Her patience is admirable. Before this school year, she served many years as a parent volunteer in which she served behind the scenes making popcorn for movie days, bagging t-shirts when they were sold, selling gifts in Santa Shop, etc. She excels in finding the strength in each child and implementing paths to help them become even more successful. She is so loyal and faithful and I feel privileged to work alongside her.

Mrs. Bessie has served the students of Napoleonville Primary for over 30 years. She is famous for saying, "I love this job." She goes above and beyond to help each student. She sees them for not who they are but what they can become. She is a source of strength and daily encourages me with phrases like, "Show your faith, " "You got this" "You can do it!" As a grown up I am so encouraged, I can only imagine how our children must feel in her presence. What a legacy! Faithfulness aptly defines her.

This student blew me away in class. We were discussing what students want to do in the future and she said she wanted to be a geologist! Stay faithful to your dreams and you can do anything you set your mind to. I am so proud of you.

This is Mrs. Jamie and her beautiful family. Mrs. Jamie loves each child as if they were hers. She treats everyone she encounters with respect and equality. She embodies the word "helpful." There is no task too great or small that she will not do if she knows that it will benefit children. Last year, she even donned a grown up elf costume for our Christmas play. She has a heart of gold that is only surpassed by her deeds of compassion. I am honored to work alongside such a wonderful human being.
