Love
Love is at the heartbeat of all I do.
I love being a teacher and helping lay both an academic and emotional foundation for the next generation. I have taught grades first - fifth for over ten years and served as a preschool director for the National Baptist Convention Center in Glorieta, NM. I am currently pursuing a doctorate in educational leadership to sharpen and improve my skills to become even more effective at serving your child. Because of this love, I am daily moved by compassion for students who are in situations of poverty, neglect, hopelessness, and fear. I am proud and grateful to have the opportunity to sow seeds of greatness, by modeling love and mercy. Each day I strive to speak LIFE into the heart of each child who crosses the threshold of my door. They are my calling. It is an honor to educate a child and work to eradicate poverty by paving a path for the future.

I love my family. They are my reason for sowing seeds of faith and hope. They are my anchor in a storm and song of joy in the night. They are life to me. I have been married to Bradley Adam Lewis for over 11 years. He is the home for my heart. We met in college on a Sunday night at church while volunteering at a V.B.S. in Donaldsonville. We have never been apart since. Together, we have two rambunctious red headed beauties who are full of energy and moxie. Each day, Bradley and I work hard to lay a foundation of love for our girls, while cheerleading them to pursue their passions. Our hope is that they will one day run wild into the world and chase their God given dreams without abandon or fear. We only have one life and each day is not promised. As long as I have breath, my life's mission will be to help them and those around me to dream and love big.

I love my community. We are stronger when we work together. We were created to need and help one another. Without love, our purpose is meaningless. My prayer is that the love that I have for you, your child, and this community would be so evident that it instills respect, earns your trust, and spurs you on to connect. Together, we can leave a powerful legacy of grace, hope, and love.
