This month in social living, students will learn why we celebrate various holidays. They will also learn that America has symbols that represent the ideals of freedom, unity, honor, and patriotism. Students will write an opinion paragraph on which symbol and/or holiday is their favorite and why.
Our focus standards for the month of November are:
Symbols, Songs, and Service
